The Easter holidays are over so it’s back to the daily grind. But don’t lose motivation now. You’re over halfway!

This week it’s straight back into the working week with the added stress of getting the kids back to school for Term 2. After the fun (and cheeky chocolates) of the Easter break getting active might be the last thing you want to do but now is the time to really step it up! There’s less than 2 weeks left of April and there are still plenty of chances to win and events to get involved in.

It’s always so much easier to get moving with someone there to lead you. Take a friend with you and ‘Buddy Up’ as YMCA says for added encouragement and more fun! Make sure you have a look through our Resources page as well for more information about the importance of better health and increased fitness every day.

Active April Halfway eNews Have you been tracking your daily activity?

It only takes 30 minutes a day! By tracking at least 30 minutes of physical activity you can earn yourself bronze, silver and gold trophies. Plus, for each day during April 2017 that you record 30 minutes or more of activity in the mobile or web activity tracker, a ticket goes into a random prize draw. The first 20 names drawn will win a $100 Sportsmart voucher.
