Zesty Green Smoothie

Getting those five serves of vegetables a day isn’t hard with this Zesty Green Smoothie recipe.

Other green veggies to add or swap in are kale, cucumber, broccoli or capsicum. Smoothies are a quick and easy breakfast or snack as you can just blend and go!

Serves: 4


  • 1 cup fresh spinach
  • 2 cups calcium fortified almond milk
  • 1 large green apple, sliced and core removed
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • ½ zucchini, finely sliced
  • ¼ avocado, peeled and sliced
  • 1 fresh lime, juiced and zested


  1. Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Pour into four tall glasses and serve.
