Premiers Active April
Want to whip your workplace into shape? Premier’s Active April is here to help!
Premier’s Active April is a great way to increase the level of physical activity in your workplace.
Once you Register for Active April you can create teams and invite workmates to join.
You can start your workplace team in one of two ways:
Ensure that you select ‘Workplace Team’ for your ‘Team Type.’
When you start a workplace team you’ll be given a Team ID. You can send a group email around the office with this ID so that your colleagues can request to join your team.
Alternatively, once you Log In you can invite workmates to join your team by using their email address or Active April usernames.
We’ve also created an Active April Workplace Team ID Poster (PDF) that you can share. Download the poster, add your Team ID and either print and display in your workplace, or email it around to your workmates.
Once you have your workmates on board you can organise group activities and encourage one another to reach the goal of 30 minutes of physical activity a day during April. Plus, you can use the Activity Tracker in the mobile or web app to log your daily activity and track your team’s progress throughout the month.
This year, we’ve made it easier than ever to log your daily activity or track your team’s progress with the Activity Tracker in the mobile or web app or simply sync your Fitbit to the app.

Got a question about getting your workmates involved in Premier’s Active April? You’ll most likely find the answer below.
It’s easy. Once you Register for Active April you can create teams – either from the Team prompts at the end of registration or the Teams page once you log in. Simply select ‘Workplace Team’ as your ‘Team Type’, click ‘Create Team’ and then start inviting your workmates to join.
Workmates can join your team in a couple of ways:
Active April is a great way to build camaraderie and increase the level of physical activity in your workplace.
Yes. Your team’s ‘total activity’ measures all the activity of current team members at that point in time. If team members leave, their recorded time will no longer be included in the team total.
There is no limit on the number of people in a team. In fact, the more people from your workplace that register for Active April. You can either have one team for all your workmates or multiple teams, see below.
Yes. If you have a large workplace you can choose to have teams for each division or group. This could be a fun way to keep motivated and compare different team’s total activity and activity types too!
You can create up to 5 teams and join up to 10. To ensure you have enough flexibility to make family and friend teams within your 5 team limit or if you’re planning to make multiple teams for one workplace, we recommend that a different person be the ‘Team Owner’. That way they can rally their workmates and encourage more people to join the fun.
You can track your activity levels throughout April from the Active April mobile or web app.
Simply Log In from your smartphone, tablet or computer and click the ‘Track Activity’ button from the Dashboard. It’s a really easy way to see how you’re going, track your own and your teammates activity and encourage each other to get even more active. This year, we’ve made it easier than ever to track your workouts with the Activity Timer or simply sync the app with your Fitbit.
Tracking activity in the tracker is not mandatory. However, logging your activity will help you achieve online trophies as you reach certain milestones for the number of days you have completed at least 30 minutes of activity. At the end of Active April, we will ask you to tell us how active you were in a survey.
