Most Active Workplace

At midnight on Sunday 30 April 2017, we’ll tally the total activity tracked by all workplace teams. This is determined by the activity total being divided by the number of people who tracked their activity within the team to get the highest average activity tracked across all workplace teams. The most active workplaces will receive 1 of 2 workplace visits from a high profile Victorian Institute of Sport athlete.

Work PLUS Challenge 1

For every member added to a Workplace team before midnight March 16 2017, a ticket goes into the draw to win a Social Spin 6 week Program for up to 10 women in the Metro area OR 1 x track session at the Darebin International Sports Centre Velodrome for a team of up to 20 participants. The more people in the team, the higher your chance of your workplace winning!

** Social Spin is a fun, social and outdoor women’s only spin style class. Instructors support, guide and inspire participants. For more information, visit the Social Spin website.

Work PLUS Challenge 2

Every workplace team that has 20 or more members by midnight Friday 31 March will go into the draw for the chance to win either 1 of 5 Get into Cardio Tennis sessions for up to 20 people, OR 1 of 5 Fit Football sessions (metro only).

** Get into Cardio Tennis is a low impact, tennis based group session that is done in open spaces, such as a park.  No previous tennis skill is required, so it’s appropriate for people of all levels of ability and fitness. For more information, visit the Get into Cardio Tennis website.

** Fit Football is a group based fitness session that can be done anywhere, anytime and with any number of participants. Sessions can provide fun and health benefits of being involved in sport. For more information, visit the Football Federation Victoria website.

Try to allow no more than 2 hours a day of screen time like TV and computer games. Make a rule that everyone must get up and walk around during commercials to get some physical activity.
